Abstract

The case of a 14-year-old female patient with a diagnosis of coarctation of the aorta is described. History of high blood pressure and recurrent headaches. She undergoes a stent placement in the Hemodynamics department. This procedure was unsuccessful, so he entered the operating room, on a scheduled basis, for surgical correction of aortic coarctation and stent removal.
