Abstract

Echocardiography is the most commonly used instrument to investigate and diagnose heart disease. The intraoperative echo is currently considered essential as a monitor and intraoperative
diagnostic assessment team. In this review, the most frequent uses of ultrasound are explained as a technique that optimizes the use of extracorporeal circulation.
