The Latin American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion is a project that began with the purpose of raising and maintaining quality standards in the profession, through obtaining the certification called Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP), such certification is obtained through an examination of basic sciences and applied sciences of perfusion. It consists of a life project within the profession, since the certification must be maintained continuously with the recertification obtained through continuing education and annual practice of the PCC.
